The BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters event means our adoption fees are reduced to:
Dogs: $25,
Cats: $10.
These fees cover spay/neuter, first rabies vaccine, their inital vaccines they receive upon arrival, etc, and BISSELL also covers FREE microchipping for all adoptions during the event, too. Offer expires Sep 30.
Mercer County Animal Shelter is in desperate need of hard and soft dog food and soft cat food. All donations are appreciated.
The shelter is bursting at the seams with dogs. We need foster homes. Here are some benefits of having dogs in a foster home:

Notes: Ralph wandered onto a stranger’s property looking for somewhere, anywhere, that felt safe. Animal Control found this sweet boy tucked under some construction materials. Ralph is now safe at MCAS. He has been seen by a vet and is being treated for a skin infection, yeast, possible mange (although his skin scrape was negative), and parasites. He has a very positive prognosis, and with his medications, good food, soft bedding, and plenty of TLC, Ralph is expected to make a full recovery.
Ralph is friendly, leash-trained and seems to be kennel-trained. Despite everything he has been through, he still wants to trust, still wants affection, and still has so much love to give. Ralph went from a stray hiding under construction debris to a dog with a name, a safe place to sleep, a full belly, medical care, and an entire team cheering him on. We will be sharing updates as this handsome boy continues his recovery. We cannot wait to watch Ralph’s transformation both inside and out.REDUCED FEE

Reduced fee offer expires Sep 30th, 2026We are extremely full and really need to move some of our bigger dogs and cats. Most dogs and cats are already fixed and utd on their rabies. The ones that are not fixed we will still cover to have them fixed and rabies shot. You will be responsible for the next two parvo and distemper vaccines.
